Gruver Creede Acoustic Electric Guitar; In the Colorado Collection, named after Creede Colorado. This is a full size 41 inch full size Jumbo guitar with rich beautiful acoustic tones, with a 4 way equalizer, piezo pickup for excellent electric tone through and amplifier. This is a great looking, but not gaudy, full size Jumbo. When Guitars have too much on them it distracts from the beauty, in the opinion of many. This is a custom made model so, the neck has that 1 11/16 size nut that is popular for fast play and quick action (good choice for electric guitar players who like to switch back and forth). The neck has those compound adjustments to keep the strings close to the frets for the best intonation and easy play, but not so close that you can't strum it hard. The fretboard is set to the 14 fret at the body to make it easy to get to the high notes without any strain. If you look at the Bridge you will see it is set a little higher, towards the neck, on the body near the center of the sound board for better ressonance. This is in the "Colorado Collection" of Finest Quality Gruver Acoustic guitars. It has the same tone woods as the Raritan (found on many high end guitars costing much more) , Solid Spruce top (not laminated), but with a rich reddish/honey and black finish. I just loved the way this guitar looks and how it is made. To have good resonance you need thin enough tone wood, with proper "X" bracing of the bridge. Excellent Fast action and that clean headstock that brings the strings in at less angle to the nut, helps tune and keep it in tune. Along the sides of the fretboard is that smooth trim, helping to slide up an down the neck. Plug it in and the piezo pickup, just like found in guitars costing way more, brings this to the stage with a great sound and beautiful presence. And as always that "nice" action on the fretboard with rich tones. Professional guitar. The Creed is used by Haven Head band on "Line It up". Anyone who picks this guitar up and plays it is sold. Rich tone, easy to play and just stunning to look at.
