Gruver Raritan Acoustic/Electric guitar J2540EQ.  (You might want to take advantage of the coupon sale. You will never see this price again!) This is a slightly smaller Jumbo style of guitar at 39.5 inche long, but has the full 25.5 inch scale.  The wonderful tone woods are Spruce and Sepele with great internal "X" bracing and a really easy to play action that rivels some electric guitars.  It plays equally well just acoustic alone or plugged in.  It has a Piezo bridge pick up, the same as you find on guitars costing many times more and it has a 4 stage equalizer (I love how it sounds on the Gruver GTB-30 tube amp.  This guitar has excellent resonance and harmonic response.) The Raritan has great tone separation as well, so that each string is differentiated very well.  A good guitar like this just supports your creativity and with easy playing gives your creativity a chance with less effort to play.  The action is so easy. It plays as easy as any of the latest models of high end guitars.  The cutaway is perfect to get those high notes without srain.  I love the way the heatstock is set up for clean transitions into the nut without side stress. It also has the compensated saddle for better intonation often only found on $2,000 guitars or higher. The compesated bridge gives near perfect intonation.

Here it played finger pick style  http://www.havenmade.com/RaritanFingerPick.mp3

This makes the guitar tune easier and stay in tune better with better physical, mechanical alignment.  HEAR IT ACOUSTIC CLICK

Here it is directly pluged in to preamp and played with two tracks on "Rollin' With Life" by Haven Head band. (The Gruver Creed is used on "Line It Up".)

Here is the video of the Raritan played Fingerpick style.

The Raritan is a slightly more "tenor" sound, because of the size.  It uses exactly the same tone woods as in the Creede and the Ouray models.  I own one of each, because there are times when the Raritan sound is perfect for the song and no other tone will work the same.  When you plug it in you can make it sound "big" by using the equalizer.  I played the Rollin' With Life using the same guitar on both tracks with no equalizer, just flat to give you the 'center" of the sound.  It almost sounds like a harpsicord with the brightness of tone it has.
